Anonymous reconsideration. Earlier in the week I did one of my tours of the web and posted the results
here. In particular I mentioned
Anonymous Zoe's weblog saying that I
"just couldn't empathise (or even sympathise) with any of it". In retrospect that last bit was probably a little harsh. Regardless of whether or not I could empathise (we probably couldn't be more disparate), it takes a callous and heartless individual to fail to sympathise with someone unless their problems are truly trivial. In my defence I can only offer my domestic situation at the time.
So, I've been popping over there and keeping an eye on her blog to give her the benefit of the doubt (and, if I'm honest, to check her mates weren't bitching at me too badly) and today she posted an extremely personal item that anyone who has had insecurities about how things worked with the opposite sex will be able to relate to in some way.
that's a nice rock!
