Pardon? - I had the afternoon off today to take Connor to the see an ear, nose & throat specialist. He's been referred because he has had quite a few ear infections.
Connor was an ideal child and didn't fidget or scream and the specialist poked and prodded him and looked in his ears & throat.
It seems he's got fluid in his middle ear. The "technician" pointed a gun like instrument in his ear which I understand pushed out a probe until it touches the inner ear. Connor meanwhile looks at me as if to say "What on earth is she doing?".
Fluid in the inner ear is likely to mean he's more susceptible to ear infections and, more importantly, may have some hearing loss. We've got to take him for a full hearing test at some point in the near future.
that's a nice rock!
