Update - Sharon is feeling a little better today but the quality of the nursing care is bringing her down a touch. Still in a lot of pain, she had to wait 6 hours for one dose of pain killers. At one point, after she had been sick and was unable to move, she had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and clean her up.
The surgeon finally came and spoke to her today. He said that the operation had gone well but she shouldn't expect to be home before Sunday.
And last thing tonight came the part of the whole operation she had been dreading the most; the removal of the drain. After her caesarean the removal of the drain had been extremely painful and taken 3 nurses over 10 minutes. Luckily this one came straight out with very little pain. The relief on her face afterwards was incredible.
