Xmas Surfing - Still wasting time on The Net. Generally on sites found at Blogdex, Popdex and Daypop's Top 40 but also from trawling through other blogs.
In no particular order, sites of interest this week were:
Top Ten Web-Design Mistakes of 2002 - Some of these appear on the entertainment agency website which I haven't worked on for a while. You can bet your bottom dollar I will be addressing them over the next few weeks (if I get 5 minutes to myself that is).
Give up pornography as a present to your wife - I know that I risk alienating a few people here but I haven't read so much fundamentalist claptrap in a long time. Articles like this make me think that they are written by people, generally men, who have so little control over their own base desires that they believe the only way to control them is through complete abstinence. Much like an recovering alcoholic who has to remain completely tea-total to avoid falling off the band wagon.
Top 10 Google Myths Revealed - Those of use who have danced the Google dance (I'd find the original articles about my Google woes but its late and I'm slightly tipsy - maybe another time) will find this of interest. If you have a website that you would like people to find from search requests, it is a must read.
The Matrix Makers - There are very few films that I get excited about. These include; Highlander, Braveheart, Happy Gilmore, Lord of the Rings, Gladiator (not in that order) and The Matrix. News of the 2 sequels is therefore always gratefully received. I can't wait. OK, I can. But I kinda wish they would hurry up.
Lingerie Barbie - If these had been around when I was a kid, I think they would have had a profound influence on my growing up.
'Dinosaur' will roam free in Disney park - The future is here! Futureworld (and any number of crappy, B-movie sci-fi plots) is only a short step away.
Engrish, Recent Discoveries - Laughed my chuffing socks off! Link via Burnt Toast.
Flash Snowboarding Game - The trick is to remember the Tricks you can do by pressing keys Z, X, and C. That's the way to score points. Another link from Lisa at Burnt Toast.
Trials - One of my favourite little waste of time games. This is the full version and on a site that doesn't take 5 hours to download. Link found at Extrasonic.
