Monday Mission 2.30 Courtesy, as usual, of PromoGuy.net.
1. What is your favourite snack food? Does anyone you know have weird tastes in snacks? Currently I'm munching on cheese and biscuits at every available moment. I don't like "mouldy" cheese but other than that everything's game. My sister-in-law, who is pregnant, regularly munches on white "chalk board" chalk.
2. Ever caught yourself saying "well it can't get any worse" and it does? What's the story there? Take a read through the last month or so on this blog and you'll get the answer. The final straw was the theft of my motorbike. Somehow things just don't seem so bad now that my wife and new son are home. All I need now is another job.
3. I have a super-short attention span, and it always was my downfall in school, especially math class. What's your attention span like and how has it served you? I too have a majorly short attention span and maths was the worst class of all. I was so good at maths that even with my short attention span I was streets ahead of my classmates which used to annoy my teachers intensely.
4. Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials? I believe in the possible existence of extra-terrestrials. I do not believe that they are currently visiting the earth or in any of the UFO conspiracy theories.
5. What do you think of the whole "crop circles" phenomenon? Fakes. Lets face it, if you'd expended the immense amount of resources required to travel from the nearest inhabited planet to the Earth, would you honestly mess up a few cornfields and the piss off home? You'd at least want to mutilate a few cattle and analy probe a few intellectually challenged Americans too.
6. Ever had a time where you begin visiting with someone you don't know all that well and just find you "click" like long lost pals? Tell me about how that came to happen, and who was it? What kind of things do you have in common? Erm. Nope. Does that make me an unfriendly miserable git?
7. When I was at the cemetery a few weeks ago, I began to recall my Dad's funeral so many years ago. It is so vivid, sitting there in the family room as his friends passed by and paid their respects, the music, his face, the tears. What funeral do you remember most vividly? I remember the funeral of my first wife. She was the first person close to me that I'd ever lost and (I sincerely hope) it will be a long, long (long) time before I lose anyone else that close to me.
BONUS: How can I forget you, girl? Drugs. Illegal ones. And if you ever call me girl again I will perform all of the required mutilation to enable me to return the compliment without fear of contradiction. ;-)
